INTERPRÉTATION DÉFINITIONS
1. (1) Les définitions qui suivent s'appliquent à la présente loi.
«agent» Agent des normes foncières chargé de veiller à l'application et à
l'exécution des règlements municipaux pris en application de l'article
15.1. («officer»)
«autorité principale» S'entend, selon le cas :
a) de la Couronne;
b) du conseil d'une municipalité;
c) de la municipalité de palier supérieur qui a conclu un accord
en vertu du paragraphe 3 (5), 6.1 (1) ou 6.2 (1);
d) du conseil de santé qui a été prescrit pour l'application du
paragraphe 3.1 (1) ou qui a conclu un accord en vertu du paragraphe 6.1
(2) ou (3) ou 6.2 (2);
e) du conseil d'aménagement qui a été prescrit pour l'application
du paragraphe 3.1 (1);
f) de l'office de protection de la nature qui a été prescrit pour
l'application du paragraphe 3.1 (1) ou qui a conclu un accord en vertu
du paragraphe 6.2 (2). («principal authority»)
«bâtiment» S'entend de l'un ou l'autre des éléments suivants :
a) une structure qui occupe une superficie supérieure à dix mètres
carrés et qui consiste en un ou des murs, une toiture et un plancher ou
en l'un ou l'autre de ces éléments, ou en tout ce qui en tient lieu, y
compris l'installation de plomberie, les ouvrages, les accessoires
fixes, les installations et les réseaux s'y rattachant;
b) une structure qui occupe une superficie maximale de dix mètres
carrés et qui renferme des installations de plomberie, y compris une
installation de plomberie s'y rattachant;
c) l'installation de plomberie qui ne se trouve pas dans une
structure;
c.1) un système d'égouts;
d) les structures désignées dans le code du bâtiment. («building»)
«certificat de modification» Certificat prescrit en application du code du
bâtiment ou approuvé par le ministre comme certificat de modification.
(«change certificate»)
«certificat définitif» Certificat prescrit en application du code du
bâtiment ou approuvé par le ministre comme certificat définitif. («final
certificate»)
«certificat d'examen des plans» Certificat prescrit en application du code
du bâtiment ou approuvé par le ministre comme certificat d'examen des
plans. («plans review certificate»)
«chef du service du bâtiment» Chef du service du bâtiment nommé ou désigné
en vertu de l'article 3 ou 4. («chief building official»)
«code de conduite» Code de conduite visé à l'article 7.1. («cod
